The Grosvenor Guest House takes pride in delivering an outstanding service to its guests. Please feel free to request anything over and above our standard services and amenities and we will do our best to accommodate you.
The Accommodation
Suites are fully equipped for bed and breakfast guests with pristine, high quality percale linen on our beds. Each room has a hospitality tray on which you will find tea, coffee, sugar, sweetener, milk and cups and saucers. Please feel free to ask management to stock you up should you run out of any of these.

Transfers from and to Cape Town International Airport can be arranged. Please make arrangements in advance with management.
A delicious full English or Continental breakfast is served on the patio overlooking the bay until 09H30. Guaranteed the best breakfast in Simon's Town.
We will advise on and arrange car hire for you.
We would be delighted to make a recommendation to any of our fabulous local restaurants.
The lounge is a communal entertainment area free for guests to use to relax and watch TV, listen to music or have a sundowner. The honesty bar is in the diningroom area and is available for guests to use.
Visit our excellent restaurants and wine estates in the Southern Peninsula. Our local guide will make sure that you have a memorable experience! Pre-booking is essential.
Wireless internet facilities available on-site.
A laundry service is provided at a nominal charge. Please inform management should you require this service.

Since some of our gorgeous apartments and rooms are accessible via means of steps, it is of paramount importance that this is mentioned when making a booking. This may impede on the enjoyment of your stay with us so we will gladly refer you if you are unable to cope with steps due to medical or any other circumstances.
Our swimming pool is available all year round for guests to use. Please ask management for pool towels to use on the pool deck.
We will arrange tours and forward booking for you. Please make arrangements in advance with management.
Verified A welcoming, homely, colonial-style guesthouse What a lovely place the Grosvenor is. We arrived a little earlier than our check-in time stated but we were greeted very warmly by one of our hosts Jonathan who helped us up the steep entrance stairs with our suitcase to our room. The property is on a private road just off the main road and was quiet and peaceful. Parking is in a bay at the front of the property. The property and decor was eclectic and fresh and had a lovely seaside ambience. Our room and bathroom was very spacious and comfortable and had all we needed and more for a very pleasant stay. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and the bedding bright and fresh. A nice touch was the complementary bottle of wine left for us on the table. We enjoyed that! At breakfast we met our other host Sue who was also genuinely friendly and welcoming even though at the time she was having a mini crisis dealing with a malfunctioning boiler. Breakfast was a relaxed affair on a lovely veranda overlooking Simon's Town naval base. There were cold and hot choices for breakfast and the hot breakfast was freshly cooked to order. Very tasty and generous as well. A short walk downhill got us to Simon's Town where we enjoyed a few drinks and some lovely food at The Smokehouse & Brewery. A taxi back at night would be advisable as the roads are dark and steep. Safe to walk around but keep an eye out for the baboons as they stroll into town in the evening! Sue and her team were helpful and went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. Breakfasts on the balcony were a delight. Only slight drawback is there are a lot of steps which might be troublesome for some people. However they are worth climbing for the view 😀. Breakfast so much to offer. It is also 10 minutes from Boulders Beach and to visi the Penguins for just under 10GBP , plenty of cafe's and African goods on sale in the area. Simonstown Approx 10 minutes walk 🚶♀️ in opposite direction. Kalks Bay is beautiful. Capetown is 45 minutes by car. It was our honeymoon and we were treated to champagne and fresh flowers which were a very lovely surprise. Staff very helpful and accommodating. They helped us carry our luggage up the stairs and we had a wonderful breakfast on their deck.
